Hello. I have a 1991 Ford Mustanf 4 Cylinder (MassAir, 8plug etc). I want to do an engine swap, but I hate all the electronics and sensors I have to deal with to do that.
Would I be absolutley nuts to remove the computer aand all the sensors and put in an older style, straight up, self reliant carbed engine?
I don't know what all would be involved with doing that, which is why I am asking . It seems like swapping out the 4 banger, just to have to put in a new computer and sensors is twice as much work as stripping it, and putting a simple old engine in.
Is this feasable? Is it even intelligent at all?
