Post Removing Hub Caps 1967 Impala

Is there a special tool or procedure for removing the original hubcaps on a 1967 4 door Impala? I was about to pull them off for their first ever hard-core cleaning, but didn't want to do any damage.

No special tool, screwdriver or pry bar, just be gentle and watch howyou pry it off, use the tire as leverage against the inner steel cap, not the outside rim of the cap.

Hell Larry, I never use that for the tires! I wrap that sucker in non reflective grip enhancing rope on a roll and use it to fend off the enemy! Tire iron for tires? NEVER! you should be ashamed of yourself for even suggesting it! :p
