Removing old bondo

I have a modified 50 Hudson that has bondo on the door panel that is cracked and needs to removed. I have had two suggestions on how to remove the bondo. One was to use heat from a propane torch to gentle heat and scrape off the old filler. They stated to be careful and not get the door real hot as it will cause a warping problem. The other suggestion was to grind out the old bondo.

Would appreciate you suggestions on what would be the best way to remove the old bondo.

I always use a knotted wire wheel on an angle grinder, just be sure to keep the heat down and wear a respirator
