Without buying an adapter, get two of the 1" wide cinch straps. The type with the hooks on both ends and the ratcheting mechanism in the middle. Run the strap from front corner to back opposite corner and the same for the other side. This will make an "X" on the bed. I ran mine under the stake pockets. Then use your hoist to pick it up. Worked out great and I had no problems at all. I probably had my bed off a dozen times this way. Just make sure your ground wire is unhooked at the gas cap if it is a new style bed.
