Hello how do you remove the truck bed odd of a 69 chevy pickup, how many bolts hold it on

not sure but assuming four to six. It's really easy. Just got to get under there and find them. Then remove any bracing or anything that's attached to the frame and bed. 3-4 guys can easily lift it.

there are 8 bolts..
on a long bed,
unbolt from under side top of bolt is like a carrage bolt..
I lifted mine off with a engine cherry picker and a few(2) 1" nylon straps
1) hooked in front left stake pocket to right rear
and 2) to right front to left rear, at x hook cherry picker and lift..

And above all...Don't forget to unhook your tail lights, there should be a connection at the rear bumper and you can remove the tail light housing all together...Those wires are thin and with the heavy box they will rip apart easily...also to make the job easier, take the tailgate off.
