Post removing weatherstripping

Have some old weatherstripping to take off around the doors on my car. Anybody have any tips on the least messiest way to remove this stuff?

I don't know of a non messy way. My Snap on dealer carries a tool that is used for removing tape stripes that doesn't damage the paint. I think it would work on weather striping too. Other than that just your good ol solvants to cut the glue and clean up the mess.
