Repainted my Guage (Pics added)

Orderd the new Trim and Face plate.. decided to spray the back Red. How's it look? I'll put another pic up of it in the truck later.

Wow, definately impressed with the way it came out. Looks great. How did you keep the numbers/etc from being painted over? Taping them up would be quite the chore.

There seperate. The face plate w/the numbers is new, so when I took it apart, I decided to spray it red. Really EAsy!!

That looks really red! And it looks great as well. Good job. I gather you sprayed it from the back.

I've been looking for this link ever since I saw this thread on Saturday. This guy made his own white faces for his gauges, and he now sells them. I imagine the same could be done in any color you can find paper in. I've also heard of people having the numbers, lines, etc. printed on clear acetate (the material transparencies for overhead projectors are made of) and putting that over a background color of their choice.

great looking peice, look spretty familiar lol im building a 48 Fleetline pro street and it has a 57 gauge bezel in it and will have a one off speedo to look similiar to orginal but custom heres a few pics looks great keep up the good work later George
