replace a t-350 detent cable?
how do I change the kickdown cable on a th350 in the car

Remove cable from carb or accelerator pedal.
Remove retainer bolt on side of trans case. Pull up on cabel housing to unseat. Remove cable end from detent linkage wire, carefully. Reverse process to install.

If the replacement cable has a rubber sealing sleeve.... the sleeve goes into the trans case first.
lube the cable end and then push it into the case after hooking the cable end to the trans link.
