replacement heater core

has anybody had a problem with a advance auto heater core? I just got a new one and its nothin like the old one design and performance

Are you sure you installed it all correctly? Not dissing you or anything,but its good to check your work.

its not a a hard job and not my first time doing it so I'm positive. the new core has to use foam because it doesn't fit correctly

Is it possible that they sold you the wrong one? They sold me the wrong belt 3 times before i just measured the size i need and had they guy look for it. There should be part numbers on the box or package or whatever it came in. Go to their web site and look it up and see if it's the right one or not.
