I'd do a google search for sure grip or other catch words. There must be a pic out there showing one apart. I think all the posi units are the same for 741, 742, 489, so a generic pic should work. or try a mopar forum?

axles came today did some research in my motor manuals can't find a break down of this posi because they list it as non rebuild able.
which can and has been done on mine. there was a article in a mopar mag about 10 - 15 yrs a go that that lay out a way to rebuild a cone type posi. it involves of 727 tf clutch springs and milling a few thousandths off the face of the cone so it will bite into the case like it did when it was new. I did this back in 90 drove it a round with a build 440 in coronet it worked quit well. do you think it could be a thrust spacer ?? if it is were would it be i do not remember seeing one. ??
