Thanks for the tips. I will try to post a pic. The last owner smeared some kind of plastic sealer stuff on it, so now that's in the way, too! When I pop in the replacement sheet, is it better to lap the edges or to but-weld them? Either way I get to learn how, so I'd rather do it the best way.

Well......I still can't figure out how to insert an image...sorry. I'll try to do some homework and attach it later.
