Talking replacing gas tank in 29 Ford

Hello, I am working on a 29 Ford roadster that has no gas tank. The frame on the car is not original and I am not sure where or how to mount a tank. I asked someone who told me he used a 66 Mustang gas tank and sending unit that worked well. What would be the best way to go. The tank will probably wind up in the trunk and it will have to be opened each time it is filled. Anything you can suggest would be great. Thanks. Pikalpha pikalpha@pell.net

Have you thought of a fuel cell? Go to Summitracing.com It makes the choices a little simpler. They have alot of differant sizes and configurations to choose from. If you go this route, make sure you get the foam filled cell.
