On the clearance that is what we call a shaker since the motor will rock some when running so you need to allow for that as well so a super tight clearance may not be good..hinges dunno on those just guessing there is some difference in the hinge for a glass hood. On time i think install the hood and cut the hole today and paint tomorrow. might be a month or so to find an opening on the shop schedule though.

I have tried most all of it and now do what is known to work..
