repop panels for early pontiacs

Greetings all,

I am currently working body issues on my 37 Pontiac 4dr sedan. I had originally thought that some repop Chevy parts could be used but have found out that is not the case. Anyone out there know a good source for parts? I need rockers front to back, all 4 lower door skins, and a tail pan.

I can't tell if the 37 Chevy rockers will work. I know most of the 37 Chevy door skins have part of the speed lines, which Pontiac's don't.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

37 pontiac

What model do you have- the small one has some overlap with chevy-
there is some overlap with buick/olds on other models. I will check my
Hollinder manual for interchanges for you but need the model number- I am away till Tues so do not have access to it till then. Jim

interchanges

Not a lot on interchange on that model- and varies depending on if it was
a six or an 8 cyl. model.

Front doors interchange with 37 lasalle, 38 pontiac and 37-38 buick
rear doors same
Front fenders are 37-38 pontiac only- but 6 or 8 cyl dependent
Rear fenders are also 37-38 pontiac but are same for both engines
Hoods are unique to that year and engine dependent
Trunk lids 6 cyl interchange with 37-38 buick and olds and 38 pontiac
trunk lids 8 cyl interchange with 37-38 olds and 38 pontiac
running boards fit 37-38 pontiac again engine dependent

Keep in mind that the interchange assumes you would find the model
buick or olds that was the same equivalent model.

Hope this is some help to you- I know what you are going thru as I have
a 39 buick- nothing interchanges Jim

Pontiac stuff

Will 1939 parts fit yours? If you think some of them might I have some '*****in' products that I will never use sitting in my shop.

I think I have the rockers left and right and an extra trunk pan replacement. also have some body support brackets and some floor pan replacement stuff.

I'm too lazy to post pictures of the stuff (and I don't know how to post them to this site) I hope this is okay to do on this site--- Contact me directly at my email and I do know how to attach/post through it.

email address; biguglyduck@att.net or call 601-766-0922 ask for big don..

Also have a complete 1939 Pontiac that is available. Needs complete restore.
