What engine line? Theoretically, "an engine is an engine", but there are so many nuances now in the newer stuff that engine builders tend to specialize...

how about a Blown chevy 427 small block? or someone who can at least drill my valve covers for a filler cap, pcv valve, and weld in some better baffles on the other side.. Thanks

Right across the river from you is a big builder in Mena, AR. I see their engines out here in shop built race cars repeatedly. I have never used the shop but repeated runs at 8,000+ RPMs has to speak good for someone there. If they hold together for long that is good advertisement.
