restoring 1952 WILLYS

Greetings hotrodders!

Again I have over extended myself by commiting to another side project!
In exchange for restoring a 1952 Ford 1/2 ton pick-up, I was given a 1952 Willys & a 1979 MGB. The willys needs some love but it runs!!! The MGB has a brand new motor and all new parts from the ground up. all parts came free with the deal. new motor, carb ,starter calipers, brakes, seats, carpet kit, door panels, window cranks, new top etc. you get the picture, all shipped from England.I will put photos of the pick-up on the project journal. I can use any helpful hints from all of you!

I'm assuming when you say Willys you're talking about a Jeep. I owned a later model CJ 10 years ago and miss that damn Jeep almost everyday. Drove it for over 10 years and 100k miles! A lot of fun to drive and work on! If you're going to use the Willys for off road, there are a ton of parts for them.

I used to own a Texaco station and worked on a couple MGs. That will be your greatest challenge! A lot of quirky things with the MG but it'll be a blast once you get it going.
Wish I had some insight into the MG but all I can say is have fun and good luck!
