Resurected From The Dead: Holley Street Dominator Intake

I got this intake for free from a buddy of mine he said it was worthless, it looked horrid and he had snapped the side off of one of the front coolant fittings.

I decided I wanted it for my 388 Stroker instead the single plane I have now.

I first borrowed a tig welder from another friend of mine and welded in the entire hole of the broken fitting (for free). Next I stuck it in a vat up at work (for free), then had chem film put on it (for free), Last I sprayed it with engine enamel primer, and then with Cast Aluminum Color Engine Enamel($4.99 a can for each)

I say not a very bad intake for about 2hrs worth of work and $10 bucks in paint that I still have about 3/4 can of each left

"Worthless"? It's nice to have buddies like that isn't it? Nice save, those are very good manifolds ESPECIALLY for what you have in it.

Not the latest technology... will give up a few hp/lbft at above 4500 rpm....... but the price is right.
