reuse cam?

I just got my 408 back from the machine shop. It was there getting checked over after a mis-hap on the freeway. My belt came off and dumped my coolant. The engine probably did not get that hot because the heat tabs on the heads and block didn't melt but I wanted to be safe then sorry (found problems in the heads). During the engine tear down I turned the engine over on the stand forgetting I had the lifters in the block still. So my cam only has about 800 miles on it and my initial break in went very smooth. I was wondering if it was OK to reuse this cam with new lifters? The cam has no noticeable wear marks and looks good.

Yes you can, just break it in again as if both cam and lifters were new. (2000-2500 rpms for 15-20mins)
