Rev Limiter question
 

Either my tach is off or the Pertronix limits revs sooner than I expected. I have the Pertronix III ignition system with built-in rev limiter.

If I set the rev limiter to 6,200, the engine will cutout at around 5,800. 6,700 it cuts out at about 6,400-6,500.

Which is correct, the Tach or the rev limiter?

If your rev limiter is wrong,at least its wrong the correct way.You will need to test your tach against anothet tach and see if they agree or not.
