Probably not be the most efficient running engine out there but it is definitely unique.

I would think that it would burn the intake valves if it were driven very far. But is does make you look.

Here's a reverse induction nailhead dragster, really cool, check out the blower driven directly by the crankshaft.

Reverse induction flatheads and inlines - Holden and Chev were done here. Check out some 60's f1 engines like BRM v8s and 16s.
