reverse flow water pump

I am running a zoops serpentine system on my zz4 350 and I am wondering if I can run the standard short pump in reverse or do I have to locate a reverse short chevy pump. Can someone tell me what make and model of chevy used a short serpentine pump?

No. The vanes point in a different direction. Moving water efficiently will suffer.

I believe a pulley change is all that needed.

You will also need a reverse flow cooling fan if you're not using an electric fan setup.

I think the 1988-1991 corvettes used reverse water pumps but don't quote me on that.
