?RHS only making aluminum heads now?

Hey guys I was planning on getting a set of RHS Pro Torker heads putting em on a short block and putting a mean little cam in it to get a nice street engine for my truck. Well I was looking on the RHS website today and all im seeing on there is aluminum heads. Did they stop making the Pro Torker vortec style head? I was planning on using these heads cause they sounded really promising. Thicker casting..bit heavier but my trucks no race car Id rather have a bit thicker heads that wont crack. also they dont need all the machining. And last but by far not least they are really reasonably priced. So these have been the heads i was planning on using...but now im having second thoughts since I dont see em on RHS website any more. Any of you guys know something I dont?

They sound promising because they are. Best friend and I got a pair for his ride when they first came out and we got them for less than $500 for the bare pair. They rock. When turned right with the right combo, they rock and roll,, especially if you focus the build around low end torque. Killer out of the hole torque. They shocked me as far as what they're capable of.

yeah I could call them I guess...I usually ask stuff on here though cause I get people like DoubleVision who have had a run in with a pair of the heads and really liked em. I like getting my faq's from a bunch of gear heads rather than a company rep.

it's good to ask questions here but if they just did stop producing iron heads than we can't tell you that as well as they can. you should give them a call, just as boatbob2 said.

they are a really good head though, i had a pair on my old 383 that was in my blazer. it was built for low end tq and would pull like crazy!

I've noticed that the RHS website lists none of the cast iron heads. If you go to their webstore they show the Pro Torker Vortecs as "unavailable". I don't know how the Patriot Performance heads compare to the RHS heads, but the Patriot site shows their 185cc runner 64cc chamber Patriot Performance Cast Iron Vortec heads still available.
