Man, there is one question I'm going to ask, is ther a possible way even though it is really heavy if i can beat a rice burner with my 56' chevy? my plan was to weld the two back doors shut ripp out the seats and slap a big block 454 with a blower and Mickey T's on the back and haul a**. honestly do ya'll think it'll beat it? do ya'll think i should have faith in my 56'?
previsely, i was answering drgnwgn 289 question. i don't know.but i do have a 454 with blower all i need is now is the piston rings, cam shaft, and the bug catcher. and also the 9' inch rear end. plus i wanted to ask about what kind of gear ratios should i put in ?
A 454 with a blower has the potential to to beat just about anything on the street, rice or not. But it takes a lot of knowlege to build a blower motor, and even more to keep it together. I'd do a lot of reading if I were you.
P.S. check out gassermadness.com, you will see some examples of how tri-year chevies are supposed to be built
well a blown bbc is a option but a four door is a little weird why a 4 door and not find a two door ????????????
