Post ricer exhaust

the other day i was considering getting some mufflers for my 71 chevy truck, and i was thinking... how would two of those hideous coffee can mufflers sound on my truck? would they still have that annoying weedeateresque sound to them, or would the sound maybe mellow out some <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Cool

I put thrush/cherry bomb type glass pack on my 74 Dodge and put the cans at the end of the exhaust pipe to mellow out the sound. It dosn't crackle like it did with just the glass pack.

I've seen a chevy s-10 with a V8 conversion to it that was lowered with 2 of the euro mufflers that have the 2 turn up tips on em' that exited out the back through a roll pan. Sounded like a louder euro. If he told me that he had a 350 in it I would have called him a liar up until I saw the motor. Steve
