I just wanted to say thanks to all for helping me with what type of battery cables to use. I am going with the # 1 welding cable which I can get at $1.20 a foot from local Electric supplier

Any how where do I find the ring connectors that goes on the end of cable. The battery post connectors I have but the round contectors I have not been able to find. The largest ones that I found was for #2 I look at Autozone, Carquest, Advance Auto. Can some one tell me what diameter the #1 wire is so if I do find it I can measure the connectors.
I have not purchased the wire yet and don't want to until I can find the ring connectors.

Your electrical supply house should be able to supply them or a welding supply place. My local ACE hardware store has a fair selection.
