RIP Copper
Well my Chihuahua Ive had for like 8 years had to be put dwn today.
 He was a great little dog. Im sad. I hate getting attached to an animal and then having something happen to it. Well just needed to share it. HG

I know how you feel HG...but when you think about your dog and the fun you had with it and the love etc.............It will make you thankfull for the 8 years that you did have with it. Yep...its tough...but It was and is worth it. Wait a few days or weeks and go get you another one.

Sorry to hear that...................pets are family.
Maybe this will make you laugh.........When I read Chihuahua, all I could imagine was this great big 300+ pound guy walking this tiny dog..................must have been quite the site...........................

I'm sorry you had to go through that.. I know exactly what you're going through and it's tough but just remember all the good times you guys had together and as poncho put it, quite the sight to see a small chihuaha walking alongside big ol hemmi.

Poor little thing, I love those dogs. My late mom had one that she got as a puppy. It was so small it rolled up on my foot and fell asleep!
Anyway, it never had it's puppy shots, hardly ever left the house and never once saw a vet, not once! It lived to be about 15 and took it's last breath in my moms arms. It was a very special animal. I am sorry to hear about your loss, poor little thing. Brian

Thanks guys.
I got up this morning ready to go let him out as usual. Strange the routine one can get into. Yea Ive laughed myself before at my size compared to my dog. Crazy thing is we have one of his pups still. She is part Chihuahua, part Maltese, full grown and weighs maybe 2 lbs! About 1/3rd that of Copper. So I look even more fruitier. LOL Tnx again, HG

Sorry to hear about your loss, those little guys sure do become a part of the family.
Our neighbor has 5 Chihuahuas that my two Greys love to play with...sure is a funny sight!
