RIP Jack Klugman / Charles Durning

Christmas Eve Jack Klugman left us,
And Christmas Day--Charles Durning.

Enjoyed "The Odd Couple" and "Quincy ME" as a teen and into my 20s.

And Charles Durning-----Just cracked me up up in just about everything I have ever seen him in. Real life war hero as well, and did not come home undamaged.

Did anybody ever see the movie Stand Alone? Stand Alone (1985) - IMDb Durning plays a WWII commando/ranger veteran going after a street gang. A little known movie, but from what I remember I liked it. But reading the obituaries I wonder if it wasn't a hard movie for him to film.

Thanks for posting that - - - - I gotta see if I can get that one or at least see it once.
As for being hard for him, that's a good point.
