rislone ring seal stop smoke

I got me a bottle of rislone ringseal/stop smoke and i have mixed feelings on it. it seems to actualy make more smoke for a min. then lowered amount of smoke alot. its still smokeing, but i didnt expect miricles for 5 bucks. the smoke isnt blue anymore, now more white. the rings were so bad that the blow by killed 4 spark plugs in a matter of a few days. it seems to me like its doing its job. i guess what im gettin at is has anyone else every used this product? what was your experiance? Any suggestions short of a ring job to help with the smoke/ blow by? hanks guys

There's no magic in a bottle that'll fix weak/worn rings. My brother in law put some "Rislone something" a liquid with pellets in his '70 Nova 350, it smoked like a freight train for a while, then went right back to the old worn out motor action. I don't know what's in that stuff, it coats the cylinder walls and rings with something, and you can't undo it.

well this stuff just seems like realy thick oil is all. no pellets. but i will not spend money for a ring job on a shootbox 3.1 v6. i just want it to last till i can afford a real motor. 350 or 454. i need something that will snap the passengers neck. haha. im hopeing this crud just lets its stand on its oqn 4 wheels a little longer.
