Rocker Arms
Alright i got my pushrods in, and rocker arms on with the ballseat round part facing down, and the adjusting nut with the round face facing up correct?..
So i get my socket(just a regular socket) I tighten it down to where the pushrod is firm and is hard to turn and i turn it 1/2 past that. But the socket is so tight in their that i can't get the socket out..i got a feeling i am doing something wrong here? When the #1 piston is at TDC both lifters should be down and even correct?? -Eric |

adjusting lifters
the time you go another half turn is when the push rod has no up and down movement, you should be able to spin it in your figers nd tighten till you feel a slight drag thn a nother 1/2 turn. sounds like you are going way to tight.

The rocker will **** to one side when it is snugged causing the socket to bind on the nut. Just wiggle it out.

I have it to where it goes from bottom up. Rocker arm. Ball with the rounded part on the bottom of the pushrod where it fits. then adjusting nut with the round part facing upwards(flat facing down).
