Rockin' Down The Highway

Hey everyone--

It's an honor to get to know you.

Many of you met me either at the SF ROCK CUSTOM & MOTORCYCLE SHOW at the Cow Palace earlier in January, or this past weekend at the GRAND NATIONAL ROADSTER SHOW in Pomona.

I'm the author of *******************: ************************ (Voyageur Press, an imprint of Motorbooks, published Nov. '06). It's the first book ever about ************and the automobile.

You can read all about it at www.***********************.
Be sure to click on 'author blog' to see all the places I've been, and which car guys have the book in their library (Jay Leno, James Hetfield, Carroll Shelby, Dale Jr., Don Garlits, Jimmie Vaughan, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Billy F Gibbons, Mike Ness are just a few).

This book took me two and a half years to produce. I looked at over 35,000 pieces of memorabilia, records (45s, LPs, 78s), photos, you name it, and got nearly 3,000 of the best pieces into the book.

Darrell Mayabb, the famed automotive illustrator out of Colorado, did the book's handsome covere (based on a Neil Young promo poster from 1985, of his Biarritz). Darrell took me to my first hot rod shows nearly 25 years ago.
I'm a rock historian, author of many standard works like ************************************************).

You should be able to find ************at any bookstore in the nation, and online at Amazon and many, many other sites. You can order it at the ************* site, of course.

I'll be appearing at many car shows this winter, spring, and summer. Hope to see ya.

If you found the book and like it, tell me why! I've now spent hundreds of hours with car guys, all talking about *************************************. Y'all are the best!
