rod bolt stretch (tools)
A few weeks ago we had a good discussion on the importance of setting the proper stretch on rod bolts. A few guys ask for pictures of the tools i have made. I posted them in my photo gallery because i cannot remember who all asked ...L.O.L.
I guess this could have gone under the tool section but i was afraid it might get lost there.... We can have another discussion here or you can pm me if you have questions about the tools....... One thing i will point out, And i am not trying to be stupid here but make sure of your welding abilitys before you try to build the tools. If you are pulling at 70 or 80 ft/lbs and break the wrench you could hurt yourself or bust the gauge.... Just a heads up..... Keith |
