Rod & Custom's "Asphalt Ego-Rama 04

I'm in need of your support guys. I have a close friend who is one of the finalist in the selection process for the six cars which will participate in this event. We need to get as many Rodders to vote for us as possible. The voting form is in the Sept issue of Rod & Custom. For those who don't get the mag. I would be glad to send them a copy of the voting form. Just email me at "nailhead40@mchsi.com". He has just finished one awsume 52 Chevy. It started out as a tudor hardtop, and is now a chopped folding ragtop. The car is very well built. It is powered by a 292 CI six in a row with a 200R tranny. It has been to two GoodGuy event and got the "Killer Custom" award both times, it was also at Back to The 50's at St Paul this spring. He has asked me to ride shotgun on this adventure. So if the car is selected we will drive it from Wis to California, and then spend a week with the boys on the left bank. The car will also be driven to Bonneville in Aug. for Speed Week. So as you can see it is a driver. You can view pics at www.picturetrail.com
type in member name.... faatrod ......
Any and all support would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Rod & Custom Asphalt Ego-Rama

Sorry about the confusion. You are to vote on the five cars you would like to see participate in this event. We are hoping you would include the 52 Rag Top as one of your five picks.

Smile Rod & Custom's Asphalt Ego Rama

Thanks to all who have responded with your votes and interest.
I will let ya know the outcome.
Yes he did cut up a hard top to make the Flip top, which was cut 3 inches.
I think the car will surprise a lot of SBC owners with the torque it creates under full tilt. It has a nice cam, Fenton Headers, and runs a sweet four barrel.
I tried to attach a copy of the ballot but it is to large, so if you will email me, I will get one sent to ya.
Thanks again.
