I have a question:
I saw in summit racing or jegs catalog Rod for my big block chevy, If I want a Big Rod ratio Like 6.800 Rod for my big block 468 CI, The price is just little bit higher for those rod compare to a 6.135 Rod, My question is, What kind of piston I'm supposed to used with this Longggggggg Rod.....I know the hole for the rod is near of the top of the piston..but in those magazine or internet, I never saw those piston....
- What is the price for a forged piston like this, with around .100 or .130 dome (4.310 bored)???
- Can I used a normal Crank, or I need a special one?
- I have to machined the block??
-Can I used my Original Block with those Rod, What is the benefit to buy this kind of Rod, More HP??
- Can I buy a complete assembly from eagle (an exemple) with that rod ratio...What price???
