The Rodders Journal

Well, it's raining and nothing better to do, so I ran to the book store to find a car magazine. ANY car magazine. Yea, it's that boring. Well, I saw the Grabowski T clone on the cover of a magazine and started to flip through it. WOW. It's amazing how many small items of detail you can spot on a car that is modeled after one that is almost 50 years old. Like the way the interior is spartan, yet functional and neat. I just may do mine this way. Yep, I ended up getting it. Hey, I'm working on a T bucket, this is research!

The cover price ($12.95 ) has always kept me from getting the Rodders Journal. Kinda like the Robb Report for hot rods. But, I think I may have to subscribe, this is a very well put together magazine. Not a ton of ads for high priced stuff I will never buy, just great pics and stories about hot rods.

Fred,
I spent a bunch of time last year talking to the publisher at NSRA York and bought a couple of issues. It's a great pub but I find I don't have enough time to read it - so have not gotten a subscription. They had several years worth of back issues at the Petersen Museum in LA when I was there a couple of months ago - and I had them in my hands but resisted temptation there as well. When I retired I thought I would have all kinds of free time for reading....NOT .

Ive been praising it for years already on this board but I think that the high price is what keeps people away from it mostly.
If you ask nicely, MARTINSR will have a cool story to tell about TRJ
