Roll bar/cage for '30 Ford Coupe

Anyone install a roll cage in an early Ford Coupe? Putting together a street/strip version, wanna put in a roll cage of some sort by that is effective....of course the small interior doesnt help any.....anyone with pics or ideas or previous experiance please step up!!

Here's what I did in my 34 Plymouth. Tried to figure out a way to not go through the body with the rear bars, but in the end this was the simplest and safest way to do it. Techinspector1 had some good ideas and info about using plates that bolted to the back of the body so the rear bars could be removed, but taking them in and out wasn't appealing - not to mention dealing with the trunk lid and bolt holes in the back of the roof, so I just welded it all up. Only the door bars interfere with anything, but a removable steering wheel minimized that. There's no pretty way to get in...

I went with 1 5/8" X .083 4130, but if you can get away with the extra weight, I highly recommend using mild steel (thicker to meet track requirements). If I could have MIG welded that, it would have saved tons of time.
