rolled copper tube for compressor line?

After reading of the need to cool air to get the water out I had the following idea but don't know if it would work. Build a support out of wood in a corner of the shop. Take 50' or 100' of 3/4" copper tube and wrap it around the support like a snake climbing a tree securing it to hold it in place. Place a water trap & drain at the bottom and connect the top to airline running across shop to hose reel. I could place fans to blow over this tubing for extra cooling when running hard. Does this sound like it would work & if so, would sweat soldered connections hold up to pressure? I would run a flex rubber hose from the compressor to the copper so vibration shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks,
Steve

Steve, While that would work (be careful with that soft copper tubing since it really is not suited for this) it may be a case of over-kill. If you have the room to run an ample amount of metal line, over 50 ft, then you probably will not have a problem.
