Roller cam question?
Hey guys
quick question,,, i just picked up a Lunati sp solid roller cam part #638-50157 to put in mine 406 flat top motor im building..... it has.... Adv. Duration: 290?/290? Gross Lift: .555''/.555'' RPM Range: 3000-6600 MY question is, since i have never used this part number cam before is.. How good does it sound coming out the pipes??? alot of roller cams i have had in the past dont give a great lopey idie and in some cases they give a kinda a little over stock sound at a idle,, but when you rev them then you know the difference and of course they put out a lot of power,,,,,,, But im the type of guy that just flat LOVES a big nasty sounding cam,, nothing better then the nice lopy idie.... that makes any car sound Mean,,, we all know the right roller set up it will sound mean and nasty...... Im just not sure on this one...... Has anyone ever used this part number cam,, or does anyone know how it is going to sound out the pipes???? i love roller cams because of the Hp it makes,, But i was just wondering How good this 555 lift .290 duration will sound out the pipes at idle????? thanks for any help |
