roller clutch

I broke my automatic trans. rear roller clutch,or rear planetary flange, so i lost 2nd and 3rd gears, just have 1st and reverse...But i can start in 1st/low power up to about 15/20 mph and manually shift into 2nd then 3rd/drive ,and head on down the road...But if i slow way down/or stop sign, i have to shift back into low and start over again,,seems to work fine as long as i shift it like a stick shift...Q. how safe is this,or whats the chance of having trans.locking up or screwing up...or is the broken clutch part out of the way ,from doing damage..it makes no noise at all, other than when i slow down in 2nd or 3rd,it whines like its free spinning....thanks...georgegouvas2@hotmail.com
