roller lifter install ? SBC

I have a 96 Chevy Express 1500 with a Vortec 350. I had an issue with oiling and found I had a bad set of lifters. I am just looking to confirm how to install the lifters in the bores. The oil feed hole on the side of the lifter- does it need to face the oiling source (there is a oil feed between the lifters) or can the lifters be installed either way in the dog bone? I just want to make sure they are correctly.

As long as the feed hole is in the oil galley, it makes no difference which way the feed hole faces..
