roller rocker ratio.

i am going to a big swap meet in detroit on saturday and one of the things that im looking for is roller rockers for my 305. here is my question, what ratio should i choose, they may only have say 1.6 or 1.5 i dont know, but if they do have 1.6, would they benefit the performance of my engine. these are my cam specs, valve lift .443/465, cam lift .295/.310, .050 dur. 214/224, adv dur. 280/290. or should i just stick with 1.5s?

thanks

1.6 ratio rockers will increase the lift at the valve by about .030, and will also add a few degree`s more duration. other than the extra added lift of the 1.6 rocker ratio, adding roller rockers really won`t benefit performance any, if you swapped on 1.5 ratio roller rockers you likely wouldn`t notice any difference performance wise. I don`t know all the specs to your engine, but I would do mods to other areas of the engine before I bothered with roller rockers. adding 1.6 rockers will likely only hurt low end torque, and with your cam that little 305 needs all the torque it can get just to move the vehicle around.
