Post roller rocker and valve cover clearance

i just ordered some pro comp pagnum roller rockers for my 502 ramjet crate motor, does anyone know if i will have a problem with stock valve cover clearance? i really like the look of the valve covers and want to keep them, is there anyways to make them fit, maybe like 2 gaskets, or milling the inside of the cover?

if they (valve covers) have drippers in them you will have to trim them off.

Search turned this one up.

I'm getting aluminum rollers with poly locks. I don't think they're going to fit under the stock centerbolt valve covers.

Anyone running this combo?

They generaly wont fit centerbolts unless they say they are made to clear them. Ive seen a lot of them that are made just for them and are a lot narrower to clear. The rocker probably will go higher than the lock so even if the lock clears the rocker might hit.I am trying to figure out if mine will clear too. From what I hear if you set the valve cover on after instaling the rockers and have someone turn over the engine and dont feel the rockers hitting your ok. good luck. try the company web site for info on them. I researched mine at Harland sharps website.

I'm running Pro Magnum Roller rockers on SBC with cast valve covers and center bolts. Had to bend the sheet metal that shrouds the PVC hole. Not sure you can get roller rockers muh more compact than the Pro Mags.
