Roller Rockers

If I was going to change out my stock stamped steel rockers to Roller Rockers is there anything needed for the Roller Rockers to fit???
The Reason I am asking I am selling my old 350 to a buddy. I kept the heads off the motor so I put on a set of stock heads for him. But when I went to install the roller rockers. They seem to bottom out where the stud is pressed into the head, Instead of floating on the valve and pushrod????? I am using the same pushrods that where used with my old roller rockers. And the pushrods are for a flat tappet cam with hydro kifters........

Thanks.......

You can't use roller rodkers with pressed in studs, you must have screw in studs in order to use roller rockers. If you change the ratio from stock then you must have the pushrod hole modified for proper clearance.

Don't forget there are two sizes of studs, 3/8" and 7/16". I have used roller rockers on studs.
You cannot go to far on lift with stock springs, if you switch to another camshaft.
What type of heads were the rollers on before?

rockers

My old heads where Camel Humps , 1967 with no accesories holes. I did have screw in studs with guide plates. Thanks for the info. We are going to run stamped steel rockers.
