Rolling Fender Lips

Got a quick question, and need a quick answer...I need to get a little bit of clearance out of my rear wheel wells on the fender side. The lip that points back in rubs my tires a little when I hit a bump...should I just grind them down, or is there a more appropriate way? thanks

You can carefully roll the lip up on the inside. Hammer and Dolly. Most Nova,Camaro,Chevelles from the early seventies, that were drag raced, have had this done.

I would also hammer and dolly you don't need to grind the lip off because this is where the outer quarter is welded to the inter quarter

I'm not reccomending this, a two by four between the wheel well and the tire. I have seen it done, it flared enough to keep the tires from rubbing.

A baseball bat works better than a 2x4. Works pretty much like that fancy Eastwood tool.
