You mean Rupaul?

Just kidding, He is going to go nowhere in the race and is basically a wasted vote. All I know is who ever is going to keep Hillary out is where my vote it going to go. I have never been one to worry about wasting a vote, I vote for who I want to win. But in this case, I am just scared to schit Hillary will be our president. I am real moderate, going that far left is just scary.

Brian

Brian, Perhaps you can help me out here. Our Television coverage of your forthcoming elections is starting to intensify as it gets closer to polling day. And I have been starting to take some interest in the build up, but can't decipher who is coming from where as I don't have an in-depth understanding of your system.
As I see it, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are "team mates" (for a lack of a better term) and between them are trying to earn the right to stand as the challenger for the Presidency.
George W. can't stand again as he has already had two terms. So there must be someone duly appointed to take up that position as his successor.
There seems to be two main rivals being "Democrats" and the "Republicans".
So who represents who, and of the contenders who leans toward the left and who to the right?
In other words, I would be drawn to a politician who is "center right" without being extreme "right". It's moderate and conservative for me.

Thanks, before I was just afraid of Hill and Bar. Now I am afraid for the whole country regardless of who gets in. Where is Alfred E. Neuman when you need him?

All those candidates and not a single good choice among them, IMO. I'm an independent so I try my best to leave a candidates party out of it and simply vote based on the individuals views on issues that are important to me but for the life of me, I can't find a candidate in this race who doesn't cancel out the vote I might give them based on one issue with their views on another. They all seem to be leaning either far right or far left.

Hillary in the White House is my nightmare too! Geez! That's just what we need...Bill getting his jollies in the Oval Office again! Any woman who'd let their husband walk all over her like that surely isn't qualified to run a country. If she'd had any balls she'd have kicked his sorry butt to the curb. If she'd done that I might take her candidacy more seriously but she sold her soul for politics and a shot at the Presidency. That earns her zero respect in my book and I'm sick of other woman telling me I should vote for her simply because she's female. She's not a woman she's a doormat!

This past summer I took the family to the east coast to all of the "Birth of a nation" sites. I kept saying the same thing! THOSE where men who laid the frame work for this great country. We have a bunch of sniviling babies now.

Until there is a Constitutional Amendment and changes to popular vote system from the Electoral College type of voting, you will always have the possibility that the guy with the most votes wont win. I did vote for W both times if for no other reason that the other choices(?) had less validity. Look at what the Dems ran against him. Wooden Al - he has so little credibilty with his planet warming tirades that the Brits have proven them to have little basis in fact. Then there was John Kerry 'nuff said - and he did lose both the popular AND Electoral College vote. Now, with that said, you had best believe that W does not make me happy and that we do need him to retire gracefully to Texas. We do not need a Ron Paul who has no other platform other then get out of Iraq. We do not need a Hilliary or Barack - who have already said that they will raise taxes even more. The Dems do have one good candidate, but he has been fairly quiet - Senator Biden - and he is qualified. The Republicans seem to have 2-3 that could do a credible job. My wife and I live in the only county in NY State that is debt free, will be working to defeat one of our useless State Senators, Hilliary as well as Obama (sorry about the electioneering - but....) as they are both dangerous, IMO, to America and our continued way of a non - socialistic (communistic?) life.

Is this tired old issue coming up again? It is the SYSTEM, the wonderful system our founding fathers came up with. It ensures that all states are equally represented. If it weren't for the electoral college states with low vote representation would get nothing from our law makers. All they would have to do is pandor to the states with the most population and get the vote. It is a system that works.
