Ronson Buffer review

Keeping with the tradition of never posting outside my own experience I have put a few hours on this one and am simply blown away with this little buffers performance...

Seems back in the 60's and 70's when you would want something that was made in the USA because it was built to last the Ronson company made a little shoe polish kit that included a light weight 2 speed buffer. it has a geared motor with enough torque to turn a 3 or 4 inch foam pad, Of course when i saw it at a thrift store for less than 5 dollars I had to give it a whirl..

I know there are a couple guys here that'll want to keep an eye out for one of these.
Here is the result of a search from 5 minutes ago ...

http://www.usedcalgary.com/classifie...neous-for-sale

NOTE* light weight, quiet , and rotates counter clockwise and takes a little getting used to and it
would be an asset for smaller areas trim etc... Probably wieghs as much as a pint of paint..
Plus the wheels/pads that come with it attach magnetically.
Wow, the test model I 'm demoing has been simply setup with a mini wheel and some masking tape but I'll be rigging up a cuople of the wheels with velcro to be able to quick change pads ...

I give it a 2 thumbs up
