roof 2

last few pics... what do you think??

actually it looks the same up close as it does in the pic.. the pic really is not hiding much besides the little pinholes and scuffs but that will be fixed with glaze...

me to I'm in Ga.... remember 93 today 96 tomorrow and its not even the hottt time yet but very sooon ....dont worry about the heat... its good for primer.take two hours and prime it...two or three coats... theres still a lot of work left...better to get done early than rush the end, you'll have to get married with the mini van and that aint cool your almost there at least prime it first then take a break or else the bondo will suck up the moisture and start rusting all the bare metal under it then after you paint it'll try to release the moisture and bubble the paint all over the place and thats just the moisture it'll suck out of the air ...I'm sure youve seen a bunch of bubbles all over a car havent you? you dont want to ruin all that work do you? Attention all pro's did I forget anything?...oh yeah ...

Looks great!!! If you epoxy primer it check the time window for recoating it. If you wait too long getting back to it you will have to scuff it or nothing will stick. Just my two cents worth. Keep posting pics of your progress.

LOL the heat and sanding wore me out !! I am headed to N.C. today for one of my friends weddings. I will be back saturday so this weekend I will get the "spray-booth" ready so I hope that next week I can lay down the primer.. what is the best to do before primeing? just blow as much dust as possible and then wipe down very well with my degreaser until rags come clean then use my tac cloth then should be clean enough for paint... right? no need for washing with water?

Im still alive Mike

Hey Mike,

Well I made it back from N.C. atucally we were right above S.C. 7.5 hour drive there followed MapQuest directions down... never try read them backwards to get back it doesn't work.. ended up going through Wilmington N.C. getting lost stopped at a K-mart bought a Tom Tom ... saved us although with all our mistakes to begin with took us almost 10 hours... damn that is a long drive but I finally got to put some miles on the 05 mustang has almost 3900 on it now LOL and I bought it back in dec. of 04.... anyway tomorrow I hope to get the booth set up and if everything goes well next weekend prime !!!!

I could be wrong simon but I think the"N" in N.C stands for north thats why its right above s.(south) carolina...is a tom tom something like a map map?or was that the guys name at k mart that gave you directions?here in Ga its common to have two names, like my friend john john ,but we just call him john for short or sometimes JJ,I think it might have something to do with their accent,it saves them from repeating themselves....just playin witya. So now you know what to expect when its your turn at the alter,I hope your friend didnt pass out or worse throw up,like my brother in law did ...whatever you do hold your mudd, people will be talking aboutit the rest of your life, not to put added pressure on you but dont eat a big beakfast before you get married, wait till the reception...my 6'6'' logger brother in law also fainted when his first child was born, they carried him out on a strecher,I guess its still sooooo funny because he's so dang big and tough and something like a little baby poking her little head out can drop him cold one of the nicest guys you could ever meet though...my sister made a good choice..anyways let me know when you need something. good luck...Mike
