Post rookie needs help

hey new mwmber here,im working on a 47 dodge pu with a camero clip,350ci370hp. this is my first rod project. any suggestions on a manual transmission,also id like to know if im going to have to replace the rearend. im pretty sure its oe.i have enjoyed browsing through ur bulletin board the last couple of weeks,nice job.

The rearend will have to go sooner or later, so I'd change it now, that way you can get common F/R bolt patterns at the same time.

put an s-truck rear end in it 2-whl drive they work like they were made for it.

Good Luck on your project. Try Ebay under parts 4-speeds..several listed now. Pretty expensive if your on a budget. Sagnaw will work and a lot cheaper.
