RootBreaker - Ez-Wiring 21 Kit
Ok so in my hello topic I mentioned I was going to need assistance on the ez-wiring 21 kit... hence how I got here by google as it seemed there were some good data here....
first is first... from the electrical sticky...
What Make Is the Vehicle? Chevrolet
What Model Is The Vehicle? Cheyenne
What is the Year of the Vehicle? 1978
What Engine Displacement is the Vehicle? 350
What type of Transmission Do you you have? SMC465
What Is the EXACT nature of the problem? need to know where some wires go
ok on to my first part...
I am going to add a ez-wiring 21 kit to my truck... I have new circuits that my '78 never had like electric fuel pump, electric choke, etc... I am also going to migrate into the factory harness plugs...
I unfortunately bought the Black kit with all black wires so that may make it tougher....
now.....
I am just trying to get the rear lights done... those wires are in great shape so no need for me to replace those wires in that harness....
4 wires in that oem harness.....
Current wires | what I believe they are
Light Green | Reverse Lights
Dark Green | Right Turn Signal
Yellow | Left Turn Signal
Brown | Parking Light
EZ Wiring 21 rear wire section: they bundle up the wires into sections and the following were in that section:
Wire Name | Number | Use (Y/N)
Third Brake Light. | 19 | No
Dome Light | 43 | No
Trunk Light | 42 | No
Electric Fuel Pump | 41 | Yes
Fuel Gauge | 40 | Yes
Right Rear Turn | 21 | Yes
Left Rear Turn | 20 | Yes
Left Tail Park | 35 | Yes
Right Tail Park | 36 | Yes
I was able to connect the left and right turn signal...
the other 2 wires in the kit were loose....
so my first question..
Where do they go?
light green and brown????
I have a pic from their doc to maybe help.....
