Hi to all. I'm new to the site and it looks really good. Lot's of info. I'm trying to build a rotisserie. I have checked out most of the forums here and have asked 4 people for plans that they state they have. I have recieve 1 response already with a promise to send plans if they can be found and I'm sure more will follow. What I need from anyone who has ever built one is all the don't and never do's that you ran into while building it. I need all and any advice. If anyone has any good plans please send..thax.

I see that you are Canadian, ......Don't know if you get "Old Autos" magazine, but there is an ad in there for a car cradle that lets you tip the car on its side. I have the paper at work and will try to post the address tomorrow.

Bodys coming off the fram in 2 weeks so I don't think the tilting kind will help.

Yeah, right........I think this thing attaches to the wheel hubs.
BTW, I am in Georgetown, just up the QEW toward Toronto. |
I won't publish scans of the plans 'cause they are copyrighted but you can get them in the book
The Racer's Guide to Fabricating Shop Equipment by John Block Steve Smith Autosports Publications P.O. Box 11631 Santa Ana, CA 92711 714-639-7681 or get it on-line @ http://www.ssapubl.com/index.cfm?do=search |
I saw one that was for a frame and it was made of two engine stands, worked real well and it was cheap.
