rough vs. lopey...again
Hey Guys,
I just have a quick question about these two terms. I did a search on the subject and actually ended up right where I was in the beginning. I was curious of what a cam company uses to determine rough vs. lopey. Is it manifold vaccuum at idle, or sound, or power? After doing a few searches on this website I found one post where it was stated that the words are interchangeable and it just depends on the company. Fine I thought, but when I looked through my Lunati catalog I found that the Bracketmaster II line has a lopey idle and the Street Master line has a rough idle. same company, both words. Still confused.
I originally was planning on upping the cam in my warmed 305 firebird but after reading and reading and readin I realized my cam was probably as close to perfect as I was going to get. (its a crane powermax 216/228 .454/.480 112lsa) Although I am happy that I picked a decent cam when I first built this enging and didn't know anything about cams, i am still confused about rough vs. lopey. thanks.
